Today I joined the fitness center
Another thing I wanted to keep track of is my eating habits with this blog. I may get followers, I may not but for the first time I want a public view of how I eat. No holds bar, I'm not going to lie about it. I'll tell you when I eat like a pig and when I don't. So far today (and its 5:15pm)
- I've had a half liter of water
- 2 gingerbread poptarts. Two as in, their are two in one pack. I had one pack.
- For dinner I'll be having a heaping glob of Taco Salad. I had promised myself that I wasn't going to eat red meat any longer. I failed my challenge last night and decided that cutting back on the red meat would be ok. So Taco Salad: hamburger meat, nacho chips, sharp chedder cheese, sweet onion, tomato, salsa and sour cream. Of course taco seasoning.
I found an interesting article today that was posted by Lane Bryant's Facebook peeps. Here is the link for that: plus-model-mag.com/2012/01/plus-size-bodies-what-is-wrong-with-them-anyway/
Hopefully I did that correctly.
If I didn't I'll fix it later. I'm not easily won over by the article. I would like more information on their statistics but what I found extremely outrageous was the judgmental, cray cray comments. People who comment that they are skinny or average weight and are shocked at how lazy America is and how big people like to blame disease or disorders on their weight gain and how specifically they know this isn't true, we are just lazy. Oh the horror. My opinion?? These individuals have a huge (pun intended) fear of becoming overweight, so they hate. I hate you because I don't want to be you, you aren't socially acceptable. Before you get your panties in a wad, I'm not saying all skinny/average weight people are like this, just those who rant on and on about how our disease is laziness and not caring, that we can't get our fingers out of the chip bag. Really?!?
